Girls’ Games

·         The main aim of the department is for all girls to have the opportunity to experience and enjoy playing traditional team sports.

·         The emphasis is on safety, teamwork, physical exertion and fun.

·         Girls join suitable groups based on their ability, skill and attitude. This allows them to develop at a relevant pace.

·         A squad of the more able girls competes for the opportunity to represent the college in fixtures against other local schools but this does not take precedence over the development of every girl’s skills. Movement between the development groups is frequent and fluid.
