Homework
Homework is usually set on the double period lesson (Years 8 and 9) or on every lesson (Years 10 to 13). You should check your homework timetable for details of any exceptions to this general rule.
Homework should normally be done on the same day that it is set and handed in as directed by your teacher. In Years 8 and 9 approximately 30 minutes homework should be expected, with 40 minutes expected in Years 10 and 11. Students in Years 12 and 13 are expected to spend a minimum of 1 hour studying Chemistry every evening, regardless of whether or not homework has been set.
Failure to provide homework will result in one of a number of possible sanctions.
