Chemistry Laboratory Rules

Rules are necessary in the laboratory for two reasons:

To ensure that everyone works safely, taking care of themselves and those around them.
To provide a good learning environment.

The following list of rules should be understood and followed whenever you are in a Chemistry laboratory:

Always listen to instructions from the teacher. Ignoring them may be dangerous.
Follow experiment instructions carefully. Experiments may be unsafe if not carried out in the prescribed way.
Safety glasses must be worn throughout every experiment and only removed when everyone has finished.
