The London ReviewThe widely anticipated follow-up to the Northern Review will take place in The Little Theatre on 3rd October 2002.
Northern ReviewThe Northern Review Evening took place on Thursday 11th October 2001. The hugely successful evening featured staff and students performing songs, poems and plays from or influenced by Northern Culture. Director Alistair Schofield – himself a Leeds man – introduced the evening by dismissing the myth that Northern Culture was an unfortunate oxymoron. The next hour and a half proved him right as we were treated to an astonishing variety of talents. This was truly one of the highlights of the year. ICT in the DepartmentICT is used throughout the school in English. From the first term of Year 7 students learn how to use ICT to improve the quality and presentation of their work. The students all follow a scheme of work which has units to complete every half-term. Students following the scheme will sometimes need to access these pages to help them with their work. They should use the menus at the top of the page to find this information. For an overview of how ICT is taught in the department click here. If you are an AS or A2 student, there is advice on using ICT for you which you can access by clicking here.
