How is ICT used in the Department?
The simple answer is: in all sorts of ways at many different times. However, the English Department also delivers a formal programme of ICT training throughout each year.
What follows is an overview of what the students will study in each term of each year:

GCSE
At GCSE level in English Language and English Literature students will be using ICT to enhance the presentation and accuracy of coursework. This will also assist in drafting.
In Term 2 of Year 10 students will have access to ICT facilities in order to prepare for the lecture competition which will also form an integral part of their assessment for Speaking and Listening.
Students will also have access to ICT facilities when engaged on media work.
