ICT in English: a term by term guide

Helping you to use ICT to support your English Work

Students should read this through with their teachers before starting:

In these pages you will find all the information you need to help you to use ICT successfully in English. Some of these skills you will already know, some you will need to practise a little more, some you will be learning for the first time.
Further up the school you will be using ICT to produce English Coursework. It is, therefore, very important that you learn all of these skills as quickly as possible so that you become a confident user of ICT in English.
Below you will see the areas that we will be covering each term and each year. You will need to click on the links to go to examples of how to use various tools. You will then be able to practise using these skills in your ICT work in English.

Then all you have to do is to use these skills in your writing in English. Good luck!

Year 7

Year 9
