There are currently two ICT teaching rooms, as well as a group of 16 PCs in the Learning Resource Centre and clusters of PCs in various departmental areas.

ICT room booking is co-ordinated using the book at the Reception Desk.

Pupils are reminded that ICT facilities are provided for academic study purposes only.

If you are in any doubt about the correct use of ICT facilities please ask a member of the ICT department or click on the following link to read the Pupil Acceptable Use Policy. There is also an icon for this on your PC's desktop.

ICT 1 (Room 101)

This room was completely refurbished at the start of September 2002. It houses 28 1 GHz Pentium 4 PCs.

Unoccupied PCs may be used by sixth form students during any teaching period, at the discretion of the member of staff using the room, or, if unoccupied, at the discretion of a member of the ICT department.

The ICT rooms are not available at morning break time. ICT 1 is open outside lesson times as follows:

On some evenings ICT 1 may be required for ICT clubs or staff training sessions, in which case the room will not be available for pupil use.

This room contains 24 PCs and is used primarily by the Junior School. This room is not available to unsupervised pupils at any time and because of its use by the Junior School is not open at break or lunch time.

Unoccupied PCs may be used by sixth form students during any teaching period, although this is entirely at the discretion of the member of staff using the room.
