Special Entry Requirements:

• Politics A Level requires the ability to write clearly structured answers, balancing analysis and contemporary examples to illustrate arguments. Awareness of current affairs and debate is important. A willingness to understand abstract philosophical ideas is also necessary.

• Politics is extremely popular at university, either on its own or as part of a combination such as PPE or Combined Social Sciences. With regards to Careers, Politics contains skills that enable people to progress into business, the media, journalism, law and the civil service. Employment prospects are high, and earnings potential well above average.
